Halls Pumpkin Farm - Maddi & Max Session

Meet Maddi & Max!

I had the privilege of taking pictures of them at Halls Pumpkin Farm in Grapevine, TX. The best part of childrens pictures is that everything they do is so cute! Maddi is full of life, loves her little brother Max and loved to be in front of the camera. She enjoyed playing on the old truck, the playground set and the mini hay maze they had for the kids. There were so many good picture to choose from and down below are a bunch!

Thanks Melissa for allowing me to capture the adorableness that are your babies!!

Halls Pumpkin Farm - Leila & Jacob Session

Meet Leila & Jacob!

An adorable brother-sister duo full of spunk! At first they were a little shy but after a bit they loved to smile for the camera! They are both very sweet, caring children! Down below are pictures from our session at Halls Pumpkin Farm in Grapevine, TX!

Thanks Amanda!! I enjoyed taking pictures of your cool kids!! :)

I'm reminded more each day I live in Texas... yeehaw!

This weekend I had the opportunity to rent 2 lenses. The 16-35mm wide angle and the 60mm Macro. OF course I couldn't contain the excitement of trying them out till Saturday so I dragged the hubby and Julian to the Stockyards. Boy, did I forget we lived in Texas. They were having some sort of exhibition on Cowboys in the olden times (or so it seemed...really). The stockyards were filled with old wagons and teepees. The streets were filled with cowboy hat and boot wearing families. Here are a few from our Cowboy adventure

The pictures down below were at the local candy store. Barrels of candy, what could be more fun??

Apparently, Julian doesn't like the idea of a bug inside his candy anymore than I do!

That was our fun at the Fort Worth Stockyards!

Julian turns 4!!

Let me start off by saying, I can't believe my kid is 4. Seriously. It's funny how even so little they go through phases just like we do. I remember exactly 1 year ago his obsession was anything Toy Story and now it's all about Superheroes (any superhero Marvel brand to be exact) with Spider-Man being his FAV! Spiderman socks, Spiderman shirt, Spiderman TV shows. (Thank goodness for Netflix and their vast selection of shows) So of course Mommie(me) had to go all superhero crazy for my babys' birthday!

Walls were draped with home-made Comic book banners (thanks Shauna for the helping hand), streamers dressed the roof and spiderman confetti lined the tables and countertops. Julian, Dave(the hubby) and I all had on our superhero Tshirt gear (needless to say we were ready for any villian intrusian). We had planned on having the party at the park but Fort Worth had other plans for us. We cancelled the park birthday due to the rain and we were thrilled at all the faithful superhero friends we have that still showed up to bring in another year of life for our baby boy.

Aside from the mask decorating section, the candy bar and the delish food the kiddos had a great time running around and playing together. So Julian, here is to another year of your adorableness, sweet and crazy self! Mommie and Papi love you with everything we have and don't have!!! Can't wait to find out if your love of superheros lasts the whole year haha :)

Zachry James

Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you my session with one of the most adorable baby boys I have ever met! Zachry is the son of our closest couple friend we know out here in Texas. They were recently blessed with a gorgeous baby boy who is 3 weeks yesterday! (Happy Birthday Zachry from your Auntie Joann)

Since I am a newbie photographer Zachry is my first newborn session. Props to all those who are newborn photographers for a living! It is a tough job, you literally work around their schedule (but with Zachry, I didn't mind). So without furthur ado I present to you Zachry James.

Parents, keep your baby girls locked up, this handsome mini man is going to break hearts!!

OoohRahh devil-pup!
